The Ramona Players were a local troupe who specialized in comedy. Occasionally, the company ventured into drama. This clipping from the Arizona Republic of Oct. 21, 1923 provides information on the company’s production of The Music Master starring Jim Dooley and Tommy La Rose. The choreography was by Dorothy Lundin of Los Angeles.

How embarrassing. The Republic announced the forthcoming appearance of the great Scottish entertainer, Sir Harry Lauder, but calls him Sir Larry in the first paragraph. The demon typo strikes again.
