Mark Twain Tonight

I’ve lost count of how many times Hal brought his one-man show to the Valley – and how many times I interviewed him for the paper. I can say this: He always had something new to say. I can also say this: I had no idea he was hitting town back in 1961, but here is an ad from the March 19 Republic proving that he was here.

He appeared at Phoenix Union High School. During my early years here, they still put on theater productions there. Anyone remember attending them?
